This is my Ride







And this is my motor






The setup:

3SGE 2liter 16v Dual VVTi Beams
4AGE 20v 45mm ITB's
Spitronics Advance with Cam controller
63mm Stainless Steel Mandrel Bend Exhaust

Saturday the 1.3 motor is coming out and hopefully by sunday the new motor will be in place and mounted

Will be getting some parts tomorrow like mountings and fuel pumps etc.

Need some advice on adjustable fuel pressure regulators
i was going to get a malpassi but everyone seem to be out of stock to looking to maybe get a Turbosmart rep from Seraaj at Maitland Auto Clinic

This is my first convertion and i will be trying to do as much as possible myself

feel free to give me ur opion and advice!

Hey you sure the spitronics advance with cam controller is able to operate both intake and exhaust.. They do not work just on and off like a 4age-20v.. it varies the cam angles quite abit...

Yes that cam controller was helped designed by the guy that tunes my cars.
We sat and figured out the one day about this vvt, some ecu's only turnes it on and off, so he went to Spitronics and told them from a tuners side of things how the cams must adjust and they build it that way, because he tunes a lot of engines with that sort of cams, like Porsche, Mercs, BMW's and so on.

He made a shit load of money out of a guy the other day. A guy struggled to get his Porsche going and tried all the ecu's, so Schalk told him that if he gets his Porsche running perfectly he owes him some big sum of money.
The guy with a lot of doubt telling him he will never get the Porsche to run perfect, gave the car to him and a few days later he owed Schalk that money, and he got it.

It's very easy with the Spitronics.
With my bakkie I wired it up, and it didn't want to start, so I swoped injector wires around and it started on the first swing.

Spitronics can run 36-1, you must just get the 36-1 unit, or take any unit to them and they will load the right firmware.
Split sequential is the way I went.
The full sequential needs a cam positioning sensor and in high revs it in any case run at split sequential.

I'm sure you wire the COP's the same as 4 coils.

Make sure your ingition timing is 100% before you start to dyno.

If you want any help with installation and so in, call the guys at Pretoria Spitronics, it's the main branch and they build the ecu's.
