Should be ok yes!! The comp wheel will be true on its own,and the turbine wheel will be true as they are balanced on their own.If they were balanced as a unit then the whole assembly would have to be put together in a specific way......like the flywheel to a crank is marked in position!! If you deviate you throw the balancing out!!

Thanks Wes :thumb: :thumb:

@ mcgav20v, I was taught the same, never asked why...just always did it

Edit : ok, maybe the fly and crank is balanced together opposed to separate?

They should done seperately, cos logically if the fly is true and the crank is true the assembly should be........true!! But now they balance the crank with the fly attached and compensate for differences on the opposing part which now makes them one unit in essence, which is why they will always have to be assembled in a certain way to keep the balancing in and limit harmonics!! To a point some parts individually could be in a worse state than before they were balanced, but once the assembly is correctly put together they work in harmony!!

You might find it as a FTF fitting.
Flat four might have it or can get it.

The OEM oil feed is connected to the block with a banjo right?? You could just go and have a pipe made up with the right banjo for the block and the turbo and eliminate the need for this fitting you looking for!!

Its been along time coming :) Did some of the final work. Got the wastegate flange from boksie and made the screamer
pipe and also bought a catch tank from f4r. A few pics (I owe this forum a lot of pics lol). Did a comp test when I installed
the motor almost a year ago and did another comp temp last week and nothing has changed after driving and hooning it
almost everyday :)

Cyl 1 : 1150kpa
Cyl 2 : 1200kpa
Cyl 3 : 1200kpa
Cyl 4 : 1200kpa

Oil,cambelt (found Gates brand for R445) and tensioner changed last week and appointment made with MAC for dyno
tuning tomorrow morning...I hope nothing breaks or the oem clutch doesnt slip too bad  #HoldThumbs

Will be putting all the turbo goodies back on today, so will post another few pics when I'm done later.

Excuse the kak welding lol Made a big mistake by using a normal wire brush bit to clean the downpipe, went brown after
getting some heat, will sort that out later.

Screamer pipe needs one more bend to direct gases towards the passenger side.

Built in my backyard, and only a few things I didnt do myself lol My first time doing so much in my build, first boosted
setup, first alles lol 8) Great help, support and advice on SR :thumb: :thumb:

You mean to say you've been driving it all this time without a turbo? Are you going to get a surprise when this thing is tuned!!!
