Thank you all for the kind welcome
Being looking for some fello 4age nutters to learn from and seems like a found a bunch load here
looking forward to the rebuild

alittle history
the car was built and i was never happy with it from day one
75km laters and the first engine go bang
a decent amount of cash later and its sorted again but not up to scratch (okay im abit crazy like dat and expect and want everything perfect but i think i have all the right to)
so alot of time later, and kak load of cash wasted and ive decided to redo everything myself
im no mech and no jack diddly about engines but i believe i can do it and get it to were i always wanted it

so anyways thats sum of the history of the car

plans: Remove engine and gearbox
Strip engine (purely to see if the good stuff that i paid for is in there or i have cardboard and coke cans as bearings)

In the process, gonna change the look to be more understated
open for ideas and suggestions

thanks

Just remember in the TVIS manifold it has "valleys" between the two runners feeding a port. When you remove the TVIS plate the manifold on it's own doesn't seal, you need to get it welded up or just remove the TVIS shaft and butterflies and fit the plate alone back.

i was wandering about it, the head is big port and the tvis got lots of small ports, like 8
the thing with the butterfly thing was between the head the intake
questions, is the standard intake up for the task ahead?
should i get a new plenum thing made up?
is the standard trottle up to the duty too?
sorry for so much questions, im an extreme newbie
thanks

Is it hexagonal(6point) socket you using? that will not work.. the mastercraft is like a 12point i think along with the older gedore type. that usually works for me. Also tap the bolt head with a hammer maybe if theres locktite its been stubborn...
