There's nothing wrong with the body, no dents ect, just the right front door. Chassis is 100%, got a whole boot full of spares, plus head and extra carb for the original 1500 engine , the wiring is stil in tack. Basacaly just the front suspension, new front door, right headlight, front bumper and spray job, rear bumper still looks good. The mountings, engine bay wiring, everything is till there :D and wats not upfront is in the boot

Thanx, will do :thumb:

Thanx guys :thumb:

n' Mazda 2.5 v6 is die kar se voorland, but before i do that conversion i want to put the original 1500 in, with a pair of weber sidies, and a re-grinded cam.

We got an extra cam with the body too, so will have that regrinded.

If it dosn't work, ill put back the stock cam and carb, just want to play a little with the 1500

If the body is done, resprayed, and suspension, brakes, interior ect sorted ill start with the v6 conversion :thumb: but it deffinatly going to happen

Hi,

Its very close to the same colour, but it was sprayed light blue, the engine bay is the exact same colour of my car :D

haha, it could've very well been my exa (before) you're right

The mx6 has a big roll to play in the 2.5 v6 decision, yes ill stay with mazda for a long time :worship:

But the v6 is a bit of a bigger conversion than the FE, by the looks of it, it will fit in there, and if it dosn't, ill make it fit  But the body, spray ect has to be sorted out before i start

This will be a stricly weekend project, and mabye a few week nights if i get carried away

Oh and i forgot to add, this one will be silver, will post a pic up later

Will keep you updated

Thanx :thumb:

I want the body to be complete, sprayed ect. Ill just spray the engine bay when the conversion is done. we'll be putting the 1500 in for the time being and drive it like that, thats why the body needs to be 100%, only untill all the stuff for the v6 conversion is sorted :D

To be honest, no i never thought of fitting a turbocharged FE, i know that the FE in turbo form will give much more than the KL ever would. But its not about the performance, i already have a FE exa, i want to to this because theres no1 that would ever think of doing it, because it makes NO sense performance wise, because of the sound of the v6, not to talk sh*t about it, in the exa's light body that engine will be something else  i dono if this makes sense to you, but thats why i want to do it. Unfortunatly the FE exa has a brother somewhere :( i can safely say there's no v6 exa anywhere

Sound like you had a bad experience with the 2.5 :?

Did a bit of stripping

Fenders, lights, guards off

Image

Image

Image

A bit more stripping :P

Image

Image

Also took a closer look at the interior

No rear wiper :(

Image

The dash still looks good, no cracks or cutting.

Image

Now his is probebly the nicest part of the car at the moment

The rear ( interior)

Rear seatbelts, my exa don't have these :(

Look at the upholstery, its still like new :D

Image

Image

Image

The front seats and front door panals will be re-upholstered in the same semi leather/material it is now, the interior will remain 100% standard.

Sounds like it will be a N/A monster.

If your interested.

I still have 2 complete doors(lh+rh) + bonnet + lights(lh+rh) + bumpers(front and back).
And some other 1500 spares I think - must just go and check.

Regards
RR
