Thanks for the motivation Ralph 8) 8)
Believe me...I know the competition is stiff but I am just chasing an et....and it is what it is Ralph.
All props to all the 10 second guys....especially N/A but I will start at mid 13's and work my way down

Then again....most races are won at the start line 8)

The vendor sent me a buildsheet to complete for the torque converter and on submitting that he came up with 5200 which also matches the recommendation on my cam card so I guess it is what it is.
I plan to wire the 2 step to the transbrake and set it a couple of hundred rpm lower but initially she will be footbraked untill I get enough seat time

Good luck with your progress Ralph...I wish I had the open budget like you :) :) 8).....and thanks again!!

Cheerz...Robbie.

no such thing as a open budget boet
all expenses hard earned, nothing comes for free :D

you might find by lowering your 2 step rpm might make kak, i have tried this, even with my measly 3500 stall lowering it to 2800 makes it flash harder and smoke the tires more

Thanks for that heads-up on the 2 step bru...I am hoping (& praying) we'll be able to get the chassis to work with whatever she lays down....tons of testing here I reckon :x :x

Don't you think your converter is a bit too tight for your setup??
From your dyno visits where are you making peak torque at??.

A few monts back when I missed that 90 million lotto it would have definitely been an open budget
Just messing with you boet....I know you work hard 8)

Cheerz....Robbie.

I looked at a show on dstv (american muscle cars) yesterday morning, and yes i must say i think ford is the best V8.In the years 60-70 on the show when they dropped that 427 into that little fairlane and called it the Thunderbolt,Ford was maid king on the dragstrip/on the road and it is still so today.

Robbie, we went conservative on everything, from cam, to compression to stall speed etc, only because of our track

you'll see why when you start racing, traction is the limiting factor 8)

who is this chick here on this forum, shannon? does she own a V8? u seem to know alot about Boss engines
haal uit en wys, the chevy's are looking for more competition
