At the end of the day the driver makes the difference, when i raced group N in 2000 we had to run stock springs, with stock shock mounts and were only allowed to change shocks, keeping the rest of the suspension the same and i imagine it was a similar story when the supey raced. The supey can handle if u use decent shocks and are a good driver. My corsa with some bilsteins handled like it was on rails.

But the CRX VTec should be in the mid 15 sec range for a 1/4 mile time if the Si-version which only pushes 108bhp does a 16.2 as stated by the link.

Edit : Yup, according to the forums overseas i found via google claim low to mid 15 sec 1/4 mile runs.

Oh and yes, it was very much a mass produced production car.
