Merc 190E Cosworth - ok its a 2.3 but what the hell!! this is how it stacks up!! pretty pretty impressive and it doesnt stop here!!

Ok - so its only the 2.3`s and the 2.5`s that can really kill the Supey - the 2litres couldnt really smoke the pipe, but then again they were not 16v`s.

Supey was the Boss.....The GTi 2.0 16v had similar performance stats but could not come the Supey on a straight.. It lacked power and was too heavy.

I can tell you now that the road going supie had no handling characteristics to speak of really,they only focused on the engine HP,that was the only criteria!! 250 units had to be produced into the market and on the budget they had i dont think they would pumped half of it into the suspension to make it anything worth talking about!! they now had to make a reliable high HP N/A street car,and that costs money!!

Ja, was just going to say, those Superboss car's had horrible suspension for what they were, that's why there's so few of them left on the road. Most are parked in a ditch or a tree...

and here i always assumed that Superbosses handled so well

Nah they succeeded in making a quick car,but i think the main ou loved drags more!!
