What i want to know is - was there another car in the same category as the Superboss elsewhere in the world which was faster. I`m not talking more power - i`m talking about taking the entire package and comparing in stock form to the Superboss.

Before you start jumping on your SR20VE`s and Beams and whatever else - fair is fair and we have to compare technology and the cars available at the time - so if you are gonna claim that some car out there outside of South Africa was faster than the Superboss then it has to meet the following criteria :

1. it must be a production car
2. it must be 2 litre capacity or less
3. It must be 4 cylinder and normally aspirated
4. car must be stock standard and you can only compare factory specs (car must preferably have been tested)
5. it must be a 1990 model or have been manufactured before 1990 (every year new technology comes out - comparing a 1991 or later model will be unfair no matter how small the year difference is)
6. you must compare 0 - 100kph, and 1km terminal speed.
7. you can compare any car as long as it is factory standard and went into production from any country in the world.

Personally i do not think there was anything as fast as the Superboss in 1990 - Unless there was some sort of limited edition that went into production elsewhere in the world which was a race-bred machine.
