Yea it was marked lower when i saw this a while back. looks like they got greedy and upped the price! was like 1050euro or so :-/

the pump is the big issue, I see some nice beasties in the states but then they go for $1400 ...just the pump.... that's already 14g's landed on this side... Ai-ja-jai... :evil:

I'm looking at this pump....

now explain something please... there are 4 pumps on that thing... 3 are connected together on the outlet side, I assume that would then go to the tank.

the 3 inlets of those 3 would then suck from 3 points on the sump...

but what is the forth pump at the back for....

I always thought that was the tricky part of building a dry-sump.... getting the oil-pickup ported to the outside, such that you could then connect it to the tank.

You simply remove the insides of the original pump, and the pickup for that matter, most oil filters have a bolt in the block which has thread both sides. Remove that and install a hydraulic fitting of the right size and pump the oil in there. Nothing complicated about that.

Or am I understanding wrong, as in this doesn't completely replace the OE system? As far as I know it does...
