Hey gents,

Need some info or even a diagram or blueprint as to how to remove the SC12 on my ZE motor in my AE92 rolla.

Your input is appreciated.

U have 2 remove the entire thottle/butterfly unit behind the intake. then loosen the sc and remove the intake pipe on the sc as well as the boosted side before u'll be able 2 pull the sc out through the top! Nedeem can tell u! its quite a kak mission!

Yes, he can share a bed with Tiger, uhm I mean he can sleep next to, ag fok, he'll be in the same clinic... :lol: :lol: :lol:

I really can't remember that it was such a difficult job to remove the SC. It was two bolts at the bottom, if not one, and two nuts at the top, then it's loose. Then you only need to loosen some clamps and wires here and there and it should come right off...

Have u replaced it in a AE92 or in the boksie? its quite a mission. both the intake and boosted side of the sc has to be removed before u able 2 pull it out from behind the motor/firewall. I did Nadeems one evening when he still had the ae92! I think the sc12 is a bigger mission than the sc14!

Thanks guys and yes I took on the job myself and I'm halfway through just that I don't know how in the hell am I going to get that belt tention down and I don't know which pulley to tackle...
@Nadeem, I don't know yet...You interested in it? :lol:

@Worx Thanks for the info and accepting my call on Saturday buddy :worship:

@Boksie you lucky bastard :twisted: Like superCboy said try doing it in a AE92...The space is so limited between the firewall and SC

Another question guys...DO YOU NEED TO DO ALOT OF MODIFICATION TO REPLACE THE SC12 WITH A SC14?? HOW MUCH EXTRA BOOST WILL THE SC14 GIVE COMPARED TO THE SC???

quite a bit of work, but it can be pulled of! do u have a small or big port motor? reason im asking is coz it much easier moding the series 3 ZE supercharger plumbing because of the pipe coming over the motor!

its easy to id the tensioning pulley man, follow the belt, its the one just below the water pump pulley and is a bit smaller.
loosen the bolt on the pulley a bit, then from under the car loosen the tensioning bolt, easy to find this , just get under the car and look at the pulley and u'll see the bolt.
which area u in, maybe i can pop by and help u out.

Mmmmkaai, only reason I'd want to remove a SC12, is to replace it with a T3/T4... :twisted:

The SC one actually loosens from the top Nadeeme :lol: the altenator one loosens from the bottom. It sits between the waterpump and Sc. U gonna have 2 use a long extension and a 14 socket.
