Hi guys I have two heads 1 smallport which is ported and flowed with 280deg cams and a 20v blacktop head. I wana know which one must I use for my 4agte build? I have heard some people say the blacktop head can't take any boost. I'm not sure if I must use the smallport head because of the cams being 280deg. Oh ja I must anyway build a intake because of space issues. Regards Andrew |

People who say the blacktop head can't take boost is blowing smoke out their asses. There's absolutely no logical reason why it would not be able to take boost and in fact lots of guys over seas are extracting incredible amounts of power from them. |

Boksie, I think he might be referring to the valve spring in the 20v head that need to be replaced if you wanna run higher levels of boost |

The turbo I'll be using is a Garret T3/T4 I doubt I'll be boosting over 1bar. |
