Hi Guys
When looking for a fuel pump for my 4age turbo,
I came a across a 2 brands which are roughly around the same price.
Some seems to offer a few more options such as life warranty etc....,

Which brand will you recommend from the below:
1.Walbro 255LPH R1250
viewtopic.php?t=7692&p=174292
2.QUANTUM Flextech 340LPH Fuel Pump Kit R1299

If you have experience with them , please share.

Was it a straight fit? Any rewiring of the power connector?

Go to Goldwagen, get a 2.5/6 Caravelle pump. End of story.

If you have intank pump, then fit a surge tank and let that fill the surge and draw from the surge with the Caravelle pump. Much better setup and will cost you less for the whole setup than any other "fancy" pump alone.

while you are busy i would recommend that you install a surge tank at the same time you install the new pump. Then all your worries with fuel will be resolved.

Had the same on the GX and once the surge tank was in all was fine. And the best is everyone told me to put a surge tank in and i went why it will not be necessary. And at the end it was definitely necessary.

So put it in one time while you are busy.

That is just mt 10cents worth info

Don't listen to me though, but when you have a hole in your piston I will say, "told you so"...

People always say "when I go higher boost". You can burn a piston on a NA car if it leans out, ANY amount of boost immediately multiplies the possibility of this happening by 100 times immediately, if it's 0.5 bar or 2bar, boost is boost and it needs petrol.

OK going surge tank asap.
Im still sorting out all the odds and ends at the moment. No hard driving and car starts up once a week, just so nothing dies over.
Going to source my fittings as well.
