Hey guys

I'm changing my exhaust housing. But i will also need to change my downpipe flange.
Can i just drill/tap a extra hole in the turbo so i can swap between the 2 or is this a bad idea.

.48 housing 4 bolt

.63 housing

I still need to check if the 3 holes line up with my exhaust tonight. But it will be nice if this could work.

thanks

It will be fine!! But it doesnt look like the flanges will line up between the 2!! Well once the turbo is mounted in the car atleast!!

Will cost more than a downpipe but maybe buy a .48 5bolt hot side one time :?:

Edit : or at a later stage

Hi Mr2.
Will that .48 fit on a Garrett T250-04 turbo?
I have one without an exhaust housing and I would like and try the twin charge thing later.

Hi Tiaan

This housing is from my garrett t3/t4 60-1 i bought from turbo direct last year. I found another turbo last week
single ball bearing t3/t4 with a .63 housing and anti surge compressor housing. Its a custom turbo so i was only going to use the housing. But i've decide to use the complete turbo and if i'm not happy i will just swop it out for the Garrett.

Not interested in selling the housing as i want to do some tests.
