I would have loved to get my hands on one to see if it will work...

leave it to them Germans to complicate things with another wire and another thing that can go wrong.... hahah.
http://www.pgautosale.com/servlet/the-9 ... 15,/Detail

I think the 3rd pin is the shield pin... can not fathom why a microphone would need a 5v supply.

and as one would expect, it seems like I lost my last Nissan sensor, the one I always test with, during the move.... DOH!!!!!

This 6M engine has a knock sensor on it. The Toyota sensors you guys tested with, did the old pre 90's era sensors also give problems with heat, or didn't you test them?

That is, it's supposed to have one, any ones guess if it is still on the motor. It's under the intake mani, and this intake mani is massive. I tried looking for it the other day, will try harder...

Since this is now the DIY tuning thread. I was reading through the PP manual. There is trigger wheel on the cams, instead of a trigger wheel on the crank that you can use? Or did I read wrong?

the cam trigger is for when you need to know when P1 is going to fire.... this is only required for full sequential operations so that the ECU can know when to start at piston#1 etc....

for normal batch firing / wasted spark, only the crank signal is required. It won't use the cam trigger in that mode...

60-2 wheels are big... and I think it needs two missing teeth next to each other.

I think the ECU's are going to want a 36-1 not 30-1 so no i don't think you will get away with that. but a 72-2 might do the trick... thing is, you will still need the cam to tell you when P1 is going to fire, you do not know that from just looking at the crank...

another problem is that the ECU will expect the gap for every 360º of crank rotation, whether its a 60-2 or 36-1 or whatever... if you have the wheel split, with a gap on ether side, the ECU are going to see a gap every 180º.... hmmmm I think it will make the engine run forward and backward simultaneously... so your not going to be going nowhere with that configuration...
