just waiting for the discovery1 Brake-pads to be delivered., then I can determine how wide I need to have the caliper, to fit over the disk with the pads(these are very thick pads.) and from there the offset on the bracket, so it sits nice and center in the caliper.

it's on the back...


I'm not able to find a vented disk that has all the right dimensions to fit properly. the ones that is the right size disk-wise, has to small a hat, and the ones with the correct hat-size are all solids. go figure... Murphy's GDF LAW... as per usual... :laughinghard:

got them from Summit racing a couple of months back.

$US 124.95 a pop.

plus about another 10Brazillion rands for taxes, fees, bribes, transaction charges, levies, etc etc etc...

The dollar price is very decent...but then its shipping cost & then when it gets here is 20% import duty, then after the import duty is charged then they all vat 14% ontoo of that...bliksems...

Hopefully I can also get a set for the Twincam at some point :thumb:

yes, I upgraded the stock M75 diff to a BT-50's M89.
bearing caps and overall diff dimensions are spot on the same, so it was an easy swop.


Parking brake is being done DK style... through the hydraulics to the rear calipers.
